As a former California State executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in areas such as Human Resources, Organizational and Leadership Development, Fiscal Operations, and Business Services, I have a deep understanding of the unique demands that come with leading in government. While each leader’s journey is distinct, I bring significant insight and awareness into the complex challenges you face and the critical responsibilities you navigate every day. 

As an advisor and coach with over 30 years of state service, including executive leadership roles, I understand the unique challenges that government managers and executives face. I’ve led statewide initiatives in emergency management, enforcement, program development, and leadership growth, and have firsthand experience in navigating complex environments. After retirement, I developed and led a statewide Leadership Development & Mentoring Program, and have continued to mentor new executives and partner with leaders and managers to build strong, high-performing teams. My passion for coaching and mentoring stems from my own experience of having a coach who helped me through the most difficult period of my career.
